I am packing. In the draw next to my bed I found the box of condoms I bought, a box of 12. I bought them just after we moved in here almost 4 years ago. There are 11 left in it, and I was wondering earlier when the last time was I had sex. I remember now, just before decorating, so I think, but can not be sure, it was about 3 years ago....
I threw the box away just now, 30 seconds ago. I also found my wedding ring, I honestly can not remember the last time I wore it. Many years ago for sure. I will not wear a symbol that represents something that is a lie. I held it in my hand as I threw the condoms away in the bin out back, I was tempted to throw the ring away too, but then I thought it would be more fitting to throw it away somewhere / sometime with more meaning... Then I thought I may sell it and just buy a curry with the proceeds. Kind of like that one... Then I thought I may keep it as a reminder, and have it engraved with SM-NA (Sexless Marriage - Never Again) and wear it on a different finger... or another message to remind me NEVER AGAIN to be in this place... Maybe NEVER AGAIN is a fitting message? I put it back in my pocket and came in - I have more packing to do... What would you do with the ring? All suggestions welcome. And I WILL do one of them. What is the meaning of ring finger?
The simplest explanation to this question would be that, a ring finger is the finger on which the ring is worn. Most people would expect more information that this when asking about the ring finger and the content below will provide more detailed information. It would now be clear that, there is a particular finger that is referred to as a ring finger and it would therefore not be correct to say that any finger that wears a ring is a ring finger. wedding sets |
