Despite the heat, some of our fav fashonists have been spotted sporting all sorts of cute boots this summer. Try a pair of well-loved traditional cowboy boots with your favorite maxi skirt for a look that's totally boho and totally hot, or strut through town in style in a pair of dark leather industrial-inspired booties with some super-short denim shorts. Either way, boots on a cooler summer day is a sure way to look smokin' during the summer months.

As much as I would love to wear summer boots, the closest I'll come is by wearing my new Swoon booties by Elizabeth and James. They're more sandal than boot, but much cooler! I live in VA and it's humid and sweltering (read sweaty feet) and no time for boots. If you must the open toe is so cute now! -D
