Hello Ladies:
I just wanted to let you know that I have the new Chanel Rouge Lipstick. Not a Recessionista price but it lasted most of the day, even through lunch. I know lipstick is not news but considering how long this tube will probably last, I will most likely get sick of the color before it's gone. Now that is a bargin. Let me know if you tried some. This is so good to know! I just bought one last week and have been waiting to wear it this week for an event. I am kind of loving the French makeup that Vanessa Paradis is wearing in the ad.....
perhaps we can start a new thread on makeup? I need some help there too.....!! xx Chris |

I love cheap clothes. I am actually known for stretching a dollar. I have found so many designer pieces at fractions of the retail costs. My boyfriend used to scoff at shopping at the goodwill and discount places...but he now hates to go to the mall after he got a new suit for $15.

I shop at Salvation Army sometimes. I have a D&G dress that i bought there for 15 bucks! (Looooove!) I love mixing cheap with expensive. I think that i can save some here and spend it there. :) Ok, i don't know if anyone understands what i just wrote! Oh God! |

That's awesome. I wish there was a Salvation Army around here.
I once got a vintage 1960's Oleg Cassini at the Goodwill for $8. I almost screamed when I found it. It was hard to keep the huge smile off my face until I paid for it (i was afraid if they found out what it was, they'd want more $ for it! lol). I totally agree with what you said about mixing cheap with designer. I have no problem mixing Betsey Johnson, LV or CL with things from Wal-mart or somewhere like that. |

Lol! I know the feeling! U just try to keep cool, u pay and then as soon as u get out of the store, u start to call your bff and thell her all about it! Well, at least that's why i do. :)
U're lucky u found that Oleg Cassini for 8 bucks! If people only knew at the goodwill knew! Haha |
