Hi all,
I'm going clubbing in Holland this year for New Years Eve. I'll be quite a cool club with DJs like Freddie Le Grand etc. I haven't been clubbing in ages, so if anyone has any ideas let me know! Please have a look at the outfits I'm considering and let me know your ideas!! Fiona

Hi Fiona,
These are some great looks, but you might feel a bit dressed up, Dutch style being pretty casual. Long tops over leggings are very popular at the moment, and I've seen a lot of sequins on girls out at night. I'd go for the Matthew Williamson sequin vest with navy leggings or black skinnies, and some bold but simple jewelry. If NYE in Rotterdam is anything like Amsterdam, you'll be in the street for at least some of the evening, so layer up! You won't want to be on heels all night - bag those delicious Stuart Maddens, and travel in flats. The Boss ones look like they'll hold up in the cold and wet, and i love that gold detail. I've styled it, see what you think, have fun! e |

Thanks Eliza, I have a habit of always dressing too smart for a night out.
That's a great look that you have created for me, the perfect line between smart and not too smart, and I really love the blue/black combination too - lovely. I should have realised that the outfits were too smart, I went to a Q Dance party at the Heineken Music Hall a few years ago, but had forgotten what types of things people wear. Fantastic, and thanks again! Ik wens je vrolijke Kerstdagen! Fiona |

Not at all. I'm always disappointed that folk around here don't dress up more for the evening, and the contents of your wardrobe reminds me just how much I pine for the British high street. Totally coveting that little vest!
