Topic: Vintage acid wash denim jacket.. Should i wear it at all?

Hey girls
Just found a vintage acid wash denim jacket and I'm not sure how to wear it or if i should at all. Help me!

Personally I am not the biggest fan of acid wash but if I was going to try and pull it off I would pair the jacket with ALL black pieces and go for a Alexander Wang inspired look. Similar to Lindsay Lo in this pic with her acid wash jeans. : )

I vote "No". Especially so if you were going to pair it with jeans (even if they're a different color'). The denim-on-denim trend is dead for this season.

Something about this jacket appealed to you--enough for you to bring it home and photograph it. So try to wear it and see how it feels. I think I agree with those who say denim on denim is a bad idea. Black is an exciting idea. White could be great with it too, I think. Or maybe any tone on tone top and bottom. I'd like you to give it a chance. :)

definately no denim or denim but with you must, suggested try it with full black or white ensembles... fitted black or breezy white..

or you cud try it with leather pants and a black or white graphic shirt and chunky black heels... or any dark graphic tee.. black black jeans white tee and a solid scraf.. red checkered or black? with mens shoes and a trilby fr a boyish look.. or black tights, black bookties and i white knit dress layered with necklackes.. or lik kim here

I agree. If you are set on wearing the acid washed jacket, it should be with solid colored pieces. (DEF no denim on denim!!!) I am just not a fan of it in general though.
