Hi I totally relate to you! I'm 51 and am always concerned that I'm trying to look too young. The other day I had on a denim mini hot pink cardigan and gray leggings and my husband thought I looked adorable (and he hardly ever says anything) I say buy whatever you LOVE you'll feel good in it always and classics never go out of style. Keep it simple but experiment. I've heard 50 is the new 30 and we don't need to look like old ladies, we need sophistication and I think with age comes confidence.
I've checked out your outfits and they are all nice. I loved the red dress with the houndstooth jacket. I also agree with the others that you should add some color and experiment with color combinations. Please check my stuff out and let me know what you think.

I apologize for the late reply. I've not been on this site in a couple of weeks. I will take a look at your outfits. I really appreciate your comments on mine. My birthday was last Wednesday and I am now officially 50 years old/young. It is my desire to use this site to help me remain classy, fashionable and appropriately dressed for my age. I never want to look like I'm trying to hard!!! At the same time, I realize that I can easily get in a "rut" and tend to buy the same style over and over again...calling my look "traditional"! That is just boring!!!!

I am also (like most American women) battling my weight which makes it difficult to "feel" good in a larger size! Another reason for sticking with what I think works best to camouflage a few extra pounds. It sounds like you don't have that issue, so I will treasure your comments and advice on staying fit and fashionable!!!
