Hello ladies,
I've noticed that most of the users have tons of items in their closets, I know everyone or almost everyone shares their closet. Now my question: What percentage of your closet items you actually own? I own 100% of the items in my closet, just because I use CC to make outfits for dates with hubby, going out, business meeting, and weekend outfits, since I can't wear regular clothes during the week. I love seeing the outfits made with other people's clothes, but it wouldn't work for me; because I already have a hard time trying to figure out what I'm going to wear just with the items I've uploaded and those I haven't had the chance to put up yet. Imagine how hard it would be if I added all the amazing items I see here. Nati, A CC addict |

Ditto with everything you just said! I was a jeans and sneakers freak before I found this site. I'd be lost without it. I must be the only female on the planet that can't put together outfits in their head. I don't even bother looking in my closet until I've made an outfit on here first. 100% mine
Granted if I had the time or sanity I might try adding things I like before I get them to see how they'd look but I don't. Michelle, A fellow CC addict |

Michelle,
You are not alone in this world, before I found this site I would have to try on everything I have to be able to make an outfit. Now is simple, I just log on and make outfits, since everything I own fits me right I know what is going to be like once I put it together here. I still have quite a few things to add, but I will once I get the time. Most of the outfit I've posted here are made while I'm at work, then I go home and look at them put them together in real time and wear them in the weekends. |

I'd say about 85% of my wardrobe is mine... i like adding things from stores and friends' closets to "try on" and see how inspiring they are with my stuff, for shopping and style inspiration. And it's kinda just fun to play with fantasy clothes!

Alyson,
I would love to play with other people's items. I've been thinking about creating a new account and dedicating it to use other people's clothes and making outfits, but still have my wardrobe separate. |

Maybe a way to do it would be to add other people's items into a special wish list, so that way they're separate but still in the same account, and easily accessible. Is that a good idea?

That is a great idea Alyson! I never thought about that.

Everything in my closet is mine except for a handful of things in the "uncategorized" category--- those are things I happen to be lusting after and want to "try out" with my stuff before I buy them ;)

Me too. everything except "wish list" is mine.
I have a 2nd user id that has my 'play' clothes in it that I have fun with and create some fun outfits with. I love using this site to come up with combinations of outfits using my clothes. And I also get inspiration from everyone's outfits on here too. It's also nice when someone puts together an outfit with your clothes that you hadn't thought of yet too! |

100% of the clothes are mine. I am too impatient to have a wish list. I would end up maxing out a credit card to purchase my wish list. For you guys that have all your items in the closet, is the number count accurate? Mine includes the number of things that CC uploaded but that aren't in my closet and don't actually show up...if that makes sense.
