Is palladium hallmarked? Is it popularly used in wedding rings? I saw a palladium ring on a website with inscriptions on it.

Palladium is in the same family of metels as Platinum. I believe it is currently cheaper then platinum, though in the past it was more expensive. Like platinum it will develop the look of a brushed finished over the years. It is whiter, lighter, and harder then Platinum. It has been used in jewlery for almost 100 years.
Most people today get it as a cheaper substitue for platinum.

I have never heard of palladium...... very interesting. How does it look as jewelry? Can one tell the difference?

Looks like platinum or silver to me.

I must say, palladium does look so identical to platinum. I think it would be safer to consult a jeweler or a personal shopper so that we don't end up getting fooled.
