OK, people, confession time: Leather Pants, and I'm talking reasonably cool leather pants, not black, in an "I'm wearing them to lunch with a T and flats" kind of way, are on the brain... Can one go there without being pitied for having misguided Joan Jett moment?
I'm liking all the spring leather and I have not seen leather pants in stores for ages (leggings don't count), which, style contrarian that I am, only makes me like them more. Help... |

I kind of like them, they always seem like a classic wardrobe punch. I say go for it, and see what happens!

You're just saying that so you can laugh at me... which I'm fine with. As long as you're entertained, we're good. :)

I say you rock those leather pants like nobody's biz. And remember that there is nothing wrong with channeling Joan Jett. ; )

Theory made a great pair(in tan & black) last season that I got. Search online and maybe you can find them. The leather was great and the fit, very flattering. Otherwise, argentina!!

I wasn't able to find the Theory ones but here's a link to the leather pants on shopbop... for inspiration: http://tinyurl.com/d8xtj5
... I'm going to add some to my closet and see if i can't make some sweet leather-pants music. (Wait, that didn't sound right.) |

I have always loved the black leather pants and I pari them with a white button up shirt or a sexy v neck tshirt and t strap heels and sometimes i add a black blazer with lots of pearls around your neck. You can't go wrong with leather pants.

They are perfectley unique and eye catching but they have the tough element too. The Row has a beautiful pair of cropped leather pants that I last saw on shopbop.com Go for it! I also love the way you planned to wear them, and the suggestion of a blazer and pearls for night is an awesome contrast of masculine/feminine- post pictures after youve broken them in!

I love leather pants and actually own a pair! I think they're classic, ageless and timeless if they fit perfectly (not skin tight, but not loose either). I love the way you plan to wear them too. I think they can be styled so many ways too. You can make them casually dressy or dressy. I like the idea with the pearls too and the blazer.
