I've tried both Safari and Firefox, neither works for drag and drop photos.

Hello, to all who are having issues with the upload process, please read on:
1) When you click 'Upload to Closet', you'll see a popup to Trust or Don't Trust the certificate. It'll say "This applet was signed by Aurigma Inc". You need to click TRUST (see 1st image) 2) If you didn't click Trust, you'll see a big red X in the popup or an empty popup and you'll not be allowed to drag your images into the box (see 2nd image). This is because you didn't give us permission to run the upload applet on your computer. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to Rectify the Problem so that you can upload items? For FireFox users: 1) Go to Tools (top navigation bar) 2) Click Clear Private Data 3) Check the boxes for Cache and Cookies 4) Quit Firefox 5) Restart Firefox and go to closetcouture.com and login. 6) After you've login, click on Upload to Closet 7) Click Trust in the popup so that we can run the upload applet on your computer. For Safari users: 1) Go to Safari (top navigation bar) 2) Click Empty Cache 3) Then click Reset Safari 4) Quit Safari 5) Restart Safari and go to closetcouture.com and login. 6) After you've login, click on Upload to Closet 7) Click Trust in the popup so that we can run the upload applet on your computer.

Hello iheartjamesdean,
May I know what browser you are using? Please note that Closet Couture works best on IE7, Safari 3 and Firefox 3. After clicking on the Upload Image button, you should see a little spinner indicating the upload is in progress. If you are uploading many images, e.g. 10 and each of the file is more than 1MB, it will take a while for the upload to complete. Hope this is helpful. If not, please email help @ closetcouture.com Thanks, Aihui |

Hi, I'm using Safari. I tried to just upload one to test it, but it still was just spinning for about 5 minutes. i dont think it would take 5 minutes to upload one picture! I'll try the regular uploader if you guys fixed it. thanks!

PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEM UPLOADING!
*** We recommend using FireFox 3 or Safari 3 as your browser. We do not support IE6 or lower versions of IE. You can download a copy of FireFox here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html ******************* When you click on Upload to Closet, you'll see a popup. It may ask you to Trust or Don't Trust the certificate. 1) Click Trust, if you want to use the drag and drop method. 2) If you are having Java or Active X issues, click Don't Trust. Then you'll see a popup box with this sentence on the very top " If you are having difficulty using the drag and drop uploader, please try the standard uploader instead". 3) Click on the standard uploader link. (see attached image) THANK YOU! Aihui

Hi Shoeshark,
Are you using the big drag and drop box? There is actually no downloading involved - you just need to click "Accept" when the pop-up box opens for you that says something along the lines of "Aurigma asks you if you want to accept this certificate". It is the same uploader used on Facebook, if that helps how you use it. Also - on the very top of the box is a link to a standard uploader if our big one is not working for you. Let me know if this helps and thanks! Chris |

Chris,
When I click 'Upload to closet' it just freezes. It has never even got as far as to be able to drag. The standard user would run and run but never upload. When I was using windows, my stupid vista wouldn't allow the program at all. Now with safari and firefox, it just freezes. Thank you for your quick reply! I'm so excited to make this work and start my closet!! shoeshark |

I have been trying to use the standard uploader today and whenever I hit the browse button to find my files nothing happens. I have used the standard uploader already with no problems. Any idea what's up?

Hi SouthernBelleNC,
What sort of "nothing" is happening? Are you clicking the browse button and you don't get a prompt to find a file to upload? Are you able to submit your upload, but the upload doesn't happen? Or are you able to select your files, but can't get it to start uploading? |

I will click the browse button to open the window to choose a pic but the window in which to browse never appears. I thought it might be my computer so I restarted it. And I periodically tried again, to no avail. I hope this info helps.
Thanks!!!!!!!! |

I'm using a Mac OS X and Safari. The standard uploader is working now but it takes forever to upload just 3 pics at time so Its really annoying. I'd really like to use the normal uploader but I still just see an X in the box. can you help me please!? Facebook uploader works just fine on my comp.
Thanks! |

I'm also having issues uploading. The advanced one won't work at all. The standard uploading goes as far as me selecting images and pressing upload. Then it processes for a few minutes before redirecting to the closet couture home page. I've tried on Firefox 3 and Safari 3.
