I am on a search for some riding boots (not the kind to actually ride a horse in, but in that style, for walking around the city, shopping, etc.). They have got to be a classic style, in either black or brown leather...I love riding boots for winter because they can be dressed up or down, they always look chic worn over a pair of skinny jeans, and I can actually walk in them! However, I am at a loss for a really high-quality, last-forever pair of boots! Any ideas?
p.s. sorry this is in the 'events' category, but I couldn't find a way to move it to the proper category.... |

Vogel Boots makes the best "classic" riding boots in both black and brown leather. They are high quality and they will definitely last forever.

I'd also suggest trying Henry Beguelin. They might not be "traditional" riding boots in the English sense, but they do some really great flat boots in riding styles that are pretty classic.

Ralph Lauren has a beautiful pair called Serana. They come in both black and brown- definitely timeless, and are available on the ralph lauren website.

The Tory Burch riding boots are super comfy and not too pricey...my feet ALWAYS hurt when I do a ton of walking and these are my go to boots for those long days of hoofing it around the city!

Ralph Lauren also makes a gorgeous pair called 'May' (perhaps I'm bias because they have the same name as me!). They're very simple and sleek and have a nice buckle detail. http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7479967/c/325.html

LOVE riding boots!!! Try DEINIS CLUB Collection, may require some digging to find but Jeffrey of Jeffrey NYC deemed them the perfect riding boot. Then there is the Birkin/Kelly Riding Boot Hermes makes and also Louis Vuitton did an interesting one last season but it may have only been in Europe. Those are my personal favorites.
