It depends where you live. For us in SF, it's important to have multiple, well-fitting coats, whereas when I lived in L.A. there are only 2 important pieces: Designer handbag and designer sunglasses
For SF: Black blazer Little black dress Dark jeans and/or leggings Ballet flats Riding boots Statement bag (red is always classic) Classic khaki trench Rainboots Statement piece of jewelry Cashmere scarf (Burberry is a timeless choice) |
