Real Name: Katherine
City: Gainesville
State: Florida
Country: United States of America
Beloved childhood look: My itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny yellow polka-dot bikini from a tap dancing recital to said song. I also loved my cobalt tights, leotard and sequined cobalt headband I'd wear to do a kids workout video I had fun with (hey! it was the 80s!).
Debilitating childhood look: My middle school experiments with glitter everything everywhere. At the time it was fun, but looking back I cringe.
Current Obsessions: I keep looking for a fun pair of teal heels to add a kick to more neutral outfits. So far, I just can't find the perfect pair...I don't want to look costume-y, but I want them to be fun.
Inspirations: Any Diane von Furstenberg-ish fabrics and prints are gorgeous! Is anyone esle shocked at how she made camo classy in her fall 2009 collection? I'm probably not going to try pulling that off... I may not be a fan of the cut of some of her pieces, but she is truely an artist and creative genius when it comes to fabrics.
Trend I could do without: Hoof-inspired shoes, especially the clogs in A.F. Vandevorst's collection. Why would I want to look like my feet are horse-ish? Or how about the stirrup pants that are starting to pop up. Egh! They NEVER looked good!
