Closet Couture hearts our members. As a new blog post we will be featuring the most active users on the site to find out more about their style, and of course, their closets. Read more about Lauren Messiah, aka "FashionKitty", below. You can become friends with her and share closets with too!

What does your dream closet look like?

My dream closet would be massive, of course. It's a dream closet so massive that it would make Kimora and Mariah jealous ;) My closet would be filled with mostly Betsey Johnson (as mine already is), Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, and tons of amazing vintage pieces. I would have a silly amount of shoes ... 5 inch heels and lots of leather boots galore. The accessories "zone" would have earrings worthy of Edie Sedgwick, tons of bracelets, and just a lot of fun pieces. Believe it or not, I am not a diamonds girls -- so it would mostly be costume jewelry.

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style has always been described as eclectic. One day I am 70s glam, another day I might be a total girly-girl. But I think overall, if I had to choose it would be bubble gum/ punk. I love wearing pink, ruffles, and bows but always pair them with leather, studs, spikes, and torn up jeans.

What are you pining for right now?

Where do you get your style inspiration?

I pretty much follow my own rules when it comes to style. If I see something and I like it, I wear it and I buy it. But I definitely gather inspiration, who doesn't? I love reading fashion magazines (Elle is my favorite), I try to attend as many runway shows as I can in New York and LA, and I also look to the entertainment world (Gossip Girl is a big one for me.)

What item(s) are you on a perpetual hunt for?

I am always hunting for the perfect black leather motorcycle jacket. I want to go vintage, which makes the hunt that much more difficult.

What is your favorite feature on Closet Couture?

Putting together my outfits! It has (almost) totally eliminated my standing in front of my closet for hours. Now I can comfortably obsess about my wardrobe from the comfort of my MacBook.
