Jimmy Choo is partnering with Saks Fifth Avenue and Closet Couture to bring you a styling contest to introduce the new Choo 24:7 Shoe Collection.  Want them?  Need them?  Then STYLE them!

From March 27 through April 10, 2010, members can style outfits using the Choo shoe and handbag collection on Closet Couture.  The creators of the top THREE outfits (as selected by Jimmy Choo) will win not one…. not two…. but the THREE pairs of Jimmy Choo’s, pictured above, in her size from the collection. (we know, we almost died when we heard the prize!!)

Jimmy Choo designer Tamara Mellon told WWD “We think of these shoes as investment pieces, timeless pieces, part of a wardrobe that every woman needs.” There is a shoe in this collection for every woman, for every event, day or night, that she has – it is the ultimate complete shoe wardrobe!

I have a comment as a tall woman. These hsoes with stillettos are totally impractical so I am not entering. As a fashion writer, and profesisonal movie industry person -when are you going to start making sexy shoes for tall woman. We dont need to be 7 feet tall and its more weight to distribute on very thin stilettos. Its just dangerous.Start making smart shoes for all women please.2/3 these are ludicrous.

Thanks for your comment, flowerpower. But I love a tall woman in heels - I am tall as well, and I think it's pretty cool to tower over people and have endless legs. I can understand if you are not into them, but how about the flats? At a pretty high ticket price, I'd still go for those....... hope you enter anyway, and hope you find more flats that you love.

Dear Flower Power, I wear stilettos day and night, even wore my Choos into the delivery room to give birth. Some women are meant to wear them, they do wonders for your figure, rear end, posture and legs. Being tall is a blessing, embrace it! I work in the fashion industry, too...I cannot wrap my mind around any woman in our industry that dislikes stilettos! Sensible or "smart" shoes are reserved for other professions! As far as I am concerned, the smart shoes usually have smart women who look good attached because they like to look amazing, i.e. stilettos! It is like telling a ballerina not to wear pointe shoes, just because they hurt her feet. Believe me, I live in Jimmy Choos, and they are so well made that they are more comfortable than any other shoes outside of flip flops I have ever worn. Running in heels during fashion week and flirting with life and happiness are what Jimmy Choo stilettos are made for! Pajamas are for comfort!

hey, I am trying to make outfits but must of the images of shoes have " No images ". Love this contest, so much fun.

I love the shoes in the new collection! They're just a lot more "real" than a lot of the designer shoes out there. I'm not in the fashion industry, but I'm all about a sexy shoe and I love that these seem designed for "ordinary" women with extraordinary taste. I could totally see myself wearing most of these.

I totally forgot to include Jimmy Choo in some of my outfit names! Is there a way I can edit them? Will they not count?

by: 4egemma on Apr 5 2010, 04:07 AM

but how will you know where is our outfits?
if we put jimmy choo in them then they will go to ur page?
or how?

by: Chris on Apr 5 2010, 04:53 AM

Take a look at Jimmy Choos profile (JimmyChoo247) - all the outfits made for Jimmy Choo are saved there automatically. Look at the name of the person you are styling in the "dressing room". If you are in the contest, you are styling Jimmy Choo. We then direct the outfits to that closet to be saved. Have a spin around the site and see what others are doing - it should make sense then.... all good questions - hope this helps!
