Lumberjack Chic is happening in a big way, just in time for wearing clothes you want to cuddle with. We took American Eagle's Shrunken Bonfire Flannel for a spin in our closets and, rather than coming out smelling like teen spirit circa 1993, we remained firmly and happily planted in fashion's here and now.

Borrow the flannel from Alyson's closet if you want to style it too, here >>

Ashley: I would pair the flannel with loose fitting jeans and bring structure to the outfit by keeping the jacket, bag and shoes very classic. Cincing the waist with a belt creates a ladylike waist for an otherwise masculine look.

Chris: I love the flannel shirt, and this one is distinctly more chic than the ones I rocked in elementary school.  I like the idea of the skirt and heel to glam it up. Is the hat too much? I think not!

Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho - Flannel!

Alyson: "Add a 'new trouser' to a layered flannel look to be totally comfy and totally current."

A Tad of Plaid

Aihui: "You can never go wrong when pairing a flannel top with skinny jeans. Create a nice silhouette by putting a belt over the flannel!"

Time for Flannel Fun

Kelli made two looks, one that's an polished take on the classic "flannel-and-jeans" combo and another that goes downtown, but not all the way to Grunge Street.
