80’s inspired trends like colored jeans and shoulder pads have been popping up all year, but no 80’s revival would be complete without the re-emergence of acid washed jeans. Yes, they are back, and with the help of the uber-cool French label Balmain, distressed and acid washed jeans are in full force this Spring. Check out three super stylish women rocking the look at New York Fashion Week this past season. To get their look, we recommend pairing the jeans with a subdued top, perhaps even a white t-shirt, and a casual jacket; the jeans make their own statement so you don't want to over do it.  For a night out, you can dress them up with a pair of heels or keep it casual during the day with a pair of converse (which is what I did today!). Either way it is a fun trend and easy to incorporate into your wardrobe.

OMG - really?? This is back? I remember dumping a bottle of Clorox into the tub and swirling around my jeans trying to make them look cool (waaaayyyyyy back in like the mid 80's) and then subsequently getting grounded for doing exactly that.... fumes ratted me out (and this is not a suggestion for something to try - they looked horrible, leave it to the professional distressors!) Thanks for the heads up on this
